Best Acne Safe Undereye Masks
Looking for the best eye masks for dark circles, puffiness, and sensitive skin? You’ve probably seen those trendy under-eye patches that celebrities and influencers swear by all over TikTok and Instagram. When they actually work, your under-eyes look brighter, smoother, less puffy, and way more hydrated. But when they don’t work, they can cause irritation, breakouts, or even those tiny stubborn bumps called milia.
That’s why I tested dozens of eye masks and curated this list of my top 4 favorite under-eye masks that are not only effective but also non-toxic, acne-safe, and perfect for sensitive skin. These are products I use myself, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Pro tip: Store them in the fridge for an extra cooling, de-puffing effect.

Clearstem Matcha Eye Patches
*best non-comedogenic eye patches*
I’m not even going to mince my words here: these are my favorite overall eye patches that I’ve ever tried. I literally have like ten boxes of these at all times so I never run out! Matcha Eye Patches are a result of a collab between Clearstem and influencer Alyssa Lynch, and they were specifically designed to STAY ON. You can literally workout with them, go about your day, jump around, what have you, and they are definitely not going to slip and slide around your face like most eye patches do. These are formulated with Matcha Caffeine, Botanical Antioxidants, and Peptides and they have absolutely NO pore clogging ingredients, like all Clearstem products. I find these to be smoothing, very brightening, hydrating and depuffing too. My dad, who’s 71, used them too and the difference before and after these eye patches was significant!! There are 7 pairs in each box. You can use them morning or night, about 2-3 times a week ideally.
True Botanicals Chebula Multi-Corrective Eye Patches
*best anti-aging eye masks*
If you love the iconic True Botanicals Chebula Serum, you will adore these Chebula Eye Patches! According to True Botanicals, “Chebula is a cascading antioxidant clinically proven to optimize skin’s natural collagen levels”. The eye patches are very luxurious feeling, with a golden hue, and nearly transparent. The ingredients are super duper clean and MADE SAFE certified, Switch Natural App approved, EWG verified, PETA approved, plus I love that they’re BIODEGRADABLE! All you have to do is run them under or place them in warm water and they will dissolve. I found these to be very hydrating and plumping. They’re great for softening the undereye area when you need it. There are 25 pairs of eye patches in each jar, and it comes with a safety lid to keep them moist, as well as a little wooden “spoon” to remove the eye patches in a sanitary way. Ingredient highlights: Chebula, Sodium Hyaluronate, Green Coffee Seed Extract & Caffeine.
100% Pure Bright Eyes Masks
*best hydrating eye masks*
I’ve used the 100% Pure Bright Eyes Hydrogel Masks for YEARS, the longest out of all of the ones mentioned in this blog post. They’re made out of 95% organic aloe juice and 5% plant cellulose, and also contain Caffeine (green tea, green coffee), Cucumber, Yerba Mate Tea and Hyaluronic Acid. What I love about these is that you can literally see the hydration getting transferred into the skin, because the eye masks get thinner as you wear them! I find them to be brightening, depuffing and intensely hydrating. You can order them as singles or in packs of 5. For optimal and lasting results, use 2-3 times a week! The ingredients in these are squeaky clean and Switch Natural App approved.
Three Ships Brighter Days™ Red Algae + Avocado Biodegradable Eye Masks
*best eye patches for dark circles*
The Three Ships Eye Masks are a great and affordable eye mask option, as you get 30 pairs for $32 (or less if you use my discount code below 😉🎁)! They are brightening, nearly translucent (very discreet) and they’re BIODEGRADABLE too! Just soak them in hot water for 10 minutes and they will dissolve. The highlighted ingredients in these eye patches are Red Algae Extract and Avocado Extract from upcycled avocados. Full transparency, they can slip around a bit, so here’s what Three Ships recommends you do if that happens: “Sometimes the excess serum on the eye mask can lead to a bit of slippage. We recommend patting in the excess serum so you get the most out of these amazing ingredients (similar to how you would pat in serums) and then reapply the hydrogel.” The ingredients in these are squeaky clean and Switch Natural App approved.
